When McCann Industries started making knives over thirty years ago, we were asked, "What does a gunsmith know about knives?".

Well... We even wondered about that ourselves! Then it occurred to us that we've built tools that could cut through some of the toughest metal alloy's known to man, so we figured wood, rope, vegetables and hide would be easy.

The designs that followed came from a close working relationship with members of military specials ops, law enforcement and sports women and men. Plus hunters from across the United States and abroad.

McCann Industries, uses only the finest materials available, from high carbon tool steel to the latest high tech plastics and polymers used in our knife sheaths. We also offer a custom horsehide version.

The knives that we build today are tomorrow's reputation. That's why all of our products are fully precision machined and ground on modern computer controlled machining centers. To guarantee our customers of the fitness and quality, there is constant, in process, dimensional checking with calibrated, certified gauges and trained personnel that know if our customers aren't taken care of, they won't be back.
